My Own Font!

Yup! That's right! I made my own font! Anyone who knows me well, knows I am a bit of a font freak. I have so many fonts on my computer that it would make your head spin. There's something about finding just the right typeface for a project that makes me feel all warm & fuzzy. Hee!
As a teacher, I am very picky about the fonts I use to create things my students will be using. I've thought for several years about creating a font using my own handwriting. Buuuut, I just didn't want to mess with the process, finding & purchasing the software, needing a pen tablet, etc, etc, etc....
Well, Apple to the rescue (Actually, I should probably be thanking the app developer here). I was introduced to an iPad app called iFontmaker. Zip! Zip! Zap! As fast as that I have my very own first ever (I'll be making more!) font.  I truly threw this together while I was at my son's karate practice...so stinking easy!
Naturally, I had to show it off using MDS! :)
If you want to download it, I'm pretty sure you can get it here. I'm not 100% sure how this all works yet, since this is brand spanking new to me.
